Jesus is fiercely opposes false teachers and to watch out for them, they are very harmful. Yes Satan is a thief, the context here is false teaching.
What has ‘the thief’ stolen from you?
5 ways Satan steals from us:
1. our innocence (consider Adam & Eve in the garden – one day that close relationship will be restored!!)
2. our identity (we are children of the one true King)
3. our joy (we have to stay rooted in Holy Spirit to keep our Joy full)
4. he steals our purpose (without our purpose we fall into all sorts of various temptations and trials)
5. our inheritance (once we turn to Christ we have an inheritance in Gods family, we become a child of God)
ONLY JESUS CAN RESTORE WHAT SATAN HAS STOLEN.
