Message from: Luke 11:23-26, and John 4:4-15 and 34-38 John 10:11-13 & John 7:37-39
Our feelings (fear, worry) can be a huge distraction from our calling to preach the gospel. The fields are white. If we will just focus on the mission the distractions of this life will fade. Jesus offers us the ability to offer joyful bubbling living water to all who are thirsty.
Jesus is interested in the one then asks us to share it.
To fulfill and walk in God’s will and fulfill what he’s called us to do we need to remove all distractions.
The point of salvation isn’t that we get clean but that our hearts are filled in every way. So that our cup is as full as it can be and overflows.
We can’t go into the harvest without the power of God.
It’s not hard to receive the fullness of the Spirit, we simply need to ask:
John 7:37-39
On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.(NIV)
