Doug opened the service and gave announcements:
-Next Lift UP Red Deer will be at the old Bargain treasures the new Hope with a Mission @ 5217 50th street
-Sunday Dec 13th Christmas gathering at 5:00pm, Turkey and stuff hosted at Stan and Crystals. Rides will be provided from the church at 4:30.
-The SEARCH: an interactive workshop for those who are not saved, your friends and loved ones to explore what we as humans are looking for, searching for etc. Each believer is to bring one or more unsaved to the meeting. At the new Hope Mission Centre which is in the Old Bargain Treasures building: Dec 10th 7:00 pm
-Purple book bible study: See Pastor Alvin regarding where and when.

Alvin prayed for Matthias 2 month trip to Belgium missions trip.

Alvin preached.
-As Joshua spoke to the sun in Joshua 10:12-13 you also in Christ can speak to the mountain that your going through. What are you going through? Speak to that discouragement.
-spending time in the word, prayer, fasting etc, don’t forget HOW BIG GOD IS.
When you make God bigger in your life, your problems will get smaller! So make HIM WAY Bigger, He is able to take your through your circumstances.
Start getting into the word more, invite Him, he will direct you and things will open up for you.

Staying in the presence of God: How big is your God? God’s plan is bigger than your mistakes.
To see the big stuff be willing to take some risks: Peter jumped out of the boat, will you?

To experience the fullness of what God has for us we need to position ourselves to allow Him to use us. Our attitude has to be to allow him to use us.

Get HUNGRY and ask God for more hunger and watch out. Ask God for those things that are a desire of your heart.

Quote: When your down to nothing God is up to something.

God has more for us but we need to ask Him for it, He knows the desires of our hearts, let’s search for him with all our hearts.
