Rom 5:18-19 Jesus made us righteous. Know who you are once you have put your faith in Christ. We are bombarded by evil all the time and we have to combat the temptation of this life by our new nature.
Had to learn who he is now with Christ in him.
In Christ there is such a freedom.
When we are rejected it’s an opportunity to love others especially when we come to church and there are those who don’t love us.
What makes us successful? It’s loving each other more than the love we expect from them.
We are succesful here because of the love that we have for one another.
Shouldn’t the church of God be increasing in love?
Watch for gossip as it will separate the best of friends.
We are a family here and we each become a part of one another. Some of you I love some of you I cannot stand but God is dealing with each us.
God is faithful to bring us to a place where we reached the end of our love. How many slaps can you take before you reach the end your love? Are you advancing in love and able to take more rejection now than a year ago?
Pastor Stan preached:
Jesus understood hatred and was mostly persecuted by the religious leaders. It was religion that killed him.
It appears this world is getting much and much worse and the violence and persecution is continuing to grow.
Just this past week thousands of Christians were forced to flee there homes from ISIS in Iraq.
We need to keep in mind the enemy is not Islam or ISIS but religion.
There was a time when upto 200,000 people across several crusades when Muslims and Jews and Christians were all killing themselves around 1000 AD.
Due to RC church split the Muslims took over Jerusalem, the pope gave everyone a cross to fight the holy war with a promise they would not have to spend as long in pergatory. Religion itself is very selfish and only concerned about its own advancement and had nothing todo with the one true God.
The gospel is not about hatred it’s about Love! Jesus changed everything, in John it says that God is love demonstrated that while we were yet sinners He died for us!
God is Love not hatred! We need to love those who hate us! We pray Lord that your Love would overcome them!
Not everything that is done in the name of God is done to the glory of God.
Let’s be careful we are not doing the same thing!
Love The Lord first and your neighbor as yourself.
There is a day coming where we may have to face greater opposition than ever before. The do not know the one who sent Jesus and it’s His name that is offensive. He is like the aroma of death but to others who are ready to hear the name of Jesus is aroma of life!

Why is there less Jesus talk now than before. People can handle talking about God but when you begin talking about Jesus it gets personal and people don’t want to hear they need Jesus.
There is no opposition in talking about God but about Jesus is very offensive to the world.
His name is dividing! You are either saved or lost. It’s the only name by which we must be saved and don’t forget it’s the only name that every knee will bow down to and confess that He is Lord.
Be Ready! Be filled with the spirit. Love the unlovely!
We have a relationship with the living God through Jesus.
Mounting opposition will be coming.
Islam still looks at the bible and believes that in john 16:12 when Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit they think that was Mohammed. Obviously that is a lie since Mohammed didn’t come for several hundred years and we know what happened on the day of Pentecost.
We need to be led by the spirit of truth characterized by the Spirit of Truth.
